  5. Lots of utility programs (what? another bunch of [blooming] utility programs.
  6. Hah! I've already got 50Mb of them on my hard disc. My memory is filled with
  7. the [dratted] things. I can't load impression any more. Why have you inflicted
  8. more on me...)

  10. Ahem. Lots of utility programs with a unique feature... They are not tied to
  11. the icon bar like your average utility but can be stuck on the backdrop where
  12. they are much more convienient, allow you to load in lots more utilities without
  13. having to buy a 48in monitor, 16Mb of VRAM and panoramic glasses in order to
  14. fit them all on. They are also written as (fairly) small modules so that you
  15. can fill your memory up with more useful things (ie games).

  17. They fit into the élite band of programs that the author actually uses on a
  18. regular basis without swearing about bugs under his breath, AND have been
  19. pretty comprehensively bug tested, as I've been using them for about a year
  20. now and I do not lose sleep over wondering if I might lose data to them.

  22. Also in this band of programs are... !QTM, Hiper Help, Prettify and er,
  23. that's it (I should point out here that these are the programs I wrote myself,
  24. because I wouldn't have very much of a life if all I did was use !QTM, Hiper
  25. Help and Prettify...)

  27. Anyway, to use, run. The function of most of the utilities should be reasonably
  28. obvious, but there is a fuller manual in Hiper-text format for the curious.
  29. Note that you can drag the programs off the icon bar. Amazing, eh?

  31. If you get an error saying that the pinboard application hasn't started up when 
  32. it obviously HAS, then you need to configure PinPatch to use your pinboard
  33. program. By default, MultiUtils should be set up to work with !BD (supplied)

  35. The configuration program is accessed by ALT-double clicking the !MultiUtils
  36. icon.
